Caroline Keane, Artist
My teaching philosophy is to aim to create an accessible platform for all ages to engage with art and art making. I believe being exposed to and experiencing various art mediums and art processes develops important skill sets such as observation, expression and connection.
Everyone in the art room contributes as a student, teacher and thinker.
My classes provide a relaxed and interactive atmosphere which promotes individual learning. Guiding students through process led approaches to art making and learning valuable, visual art techniques.
"Every child is an artist.
The problem is how to remain an artist once you grow up."
Skills based and educational,
ideal for secondary school students wishing to advance their creative techniques
Skills based and sociable,
wonderful for beginners, enthusiasts and advanced
"Creativity is contagious,
pass it on."
Adult Class Student.
Caroline is an amazing teacher and as a complete beginner any worries I had about starting art classes quickly disappeared. Classes are fun relaxing and very friendly and Caroline is always there to help.
Caroline O’ Toole,
I have worked with Caroline doing a mural in our Foroige club and she was an amazing teacher and excellent with our group of young people that ranged between the ages of 12 and 18.
Toddlers and Tea.
I don't know who enjoys this class more, myself or Ellie. Watching her splash around in the paint, interacting with other little budding artists is just fab. Meeting other parents there for the chats is just a lovely break during the week. Massive thumbs up.
Leaving Cert Student.
I've decided to go to Art College after my Leaving Cert and Caroline's encouragement has really helped me make that decision with confidence. She's a great teacher and motivator and has helped me massively in preparing for my portfolio.
