National Drawing Day was celebrated with a variety of creative workshops at the Arthouse Stradbally. National Drawing also fell amongst the national festival of Bealtaine. Bealtaine is a festival which uniquely celebrates the arts and creativity as we age. The festival is run by Age & Opportunity, the national organisation that promotes active and engaged living as we get older.From my artist studio at the Arthouse I demonstrated the paper making process and guided participants in creating homemade paper.
