Art Classes
These Art classes aim to create a fun and vibrant environment for all ages to develop their artistic abilities.
The classes are designed around an art studio environment, so students will learn about different art materials, experiment and learn about
the creative process rather the heavily concentrating on producing a product.

Over each 8 week term we build an artists portfolio of work and explore the process of filling an artists sketch book.
I have designed the classes so there is a balance of learning artistic techniques and the creative process of art making. I encourage each artist to experiment with their materials and include their individual ideas into each different piece of work.

An artistic portfolio is built over the 8 week period - covering drawing, painting sculpture, textiles, clay and art history.

We focus on the creative process - demonstrating how each medium works then encourage each student to add individuality to their work.

We don't focus on the right or wrong way but rather encourage confidence and experimentation with our art materials.
Adult Classes

In our classes we start at the very beginning, slowly introducing you to different art materials & there techniques. New students are brought through a series of lessons to learn the basics & figure what materials they like.

Returning students are guided through their own particular piece at there own pace. Each term there is a specific demo concentrating on a particular skill or medium.All material supplied.
